With the UEFA Champions League starting off, Proximus wanted to promote its All Sports package which covers all the games with great commentators, analysts and a splendid Multilive feature, that allows you to watch multiple games at once. To raise awareness for the All Sports package we opted to work with two completely different TikTok influencers, each coming up with a unique approach to create a branded TikTok video.
One of the two influencers was Martijn Debbaut, an amazing and very skilled freestyle footballer that has appeared all over the Belgian media, participated on Belgium’s got Talent and has a huge TikTok following. On TikTok he regularly posts freestyle tricks and compilations of his public performances. We asked him to reenact several famous historical UEFA Champions League events and tell his audience that they won’t have to miss out on such moments if they have the Proximus All Sports package.
The other influencer was Angel Redondo, part of the comedic duo Kurkdroog who are masters of creating viral content on social media. They create short sketches, interview people in public and do social commentary. We asked him to create a funny sketch about the All Sports package and its amazing Multilive feature, to raise awareness about that exact feature and other benefits of having the All Sports package.
With the power of smart TikTok advertising a total of more than 2 million views within the right target group were achieved, raising quite the awareness!
Adshot suggested collaborating with six TikTok influencers reaching a younger but very broad audience.
The influencers each told their audience about Proximus Pickx Prono in their own respective ways using a TikTok video. Some even went as far as adding an entire story or monologue to really convince their audiences.
Adshot recruited, onboarded, and followed-up on each of the 6 chosen influencers, making sure that they received the input from Proximus as well as executed the requested service respectively. Proximus received a custom report containing the performance metrics of all videos, along with the created content.
