Gamers rarely pick a keyboard from a spec sheet. They want to hear how it sounds and see how it feels under real hands, and they trust the creators they follow more than a product page. Alternate, the online shop for tech and gaming gear, wanted to introduce Belgian gamers to the Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4, and let them know where they could buy it.
The box arrived, and the cameras were already rolling. Together with Alternate, we picked ten Belgian gaming creators, who unboxed the keyboard their own way with one request: take out a few keys and swap them, so viewers could see how easy that is. Kevyn_3D went a step further and designed and 3D-printed his own keycaps for it, while XMileyX showed the swap tool, plugged it in and gave her followers a sound check. On Twitch, streamers unboxed the keyboard live in front of their chat and pointed viewers to the product page on Alternate’s webshop. Click, clack, unboxed.
