Elden ring, a game released by Bandai Namco, was probably one of the most-anticipated games ever, it’s the highly anticipated next chapter in the legendary Dark Souls saga. But despite the hype not everyone was aware this game was coming out.
As the launch of the game was coming closer Bandai Namco was looking to spread the word to a broad gamer audience on social media in the Flemish part of Belgium and The Netherlands. That’s where Adshot stepped in to set up a large scale TikTok campaign featuring some amazing content creators.
But, reaching a young gamer audience online while remaining authentic isn’t an easy thing to do. We opted to use video content on TikTok to spread the message as it easily conveys the sheer epicness that Elden Ring brings with it. To not immediately lose interest of viewers it was essential to spread light-hearted, fun content that was also informative about the game.
So how did we reach this audience while also remaining authentic, informative and entertaining? Adshot set up an influencer marketing campaign using multiple amazing Belgian and Dutch TikTok creators. All creators gave their own version of a fun game review. All the content got uploaded on the TikTok profile of the creators and the best and most informative content got a paid boost.
