Together with KontrolFreek we organized a two-part campaign in Belgium and the Netherlands. The goal was clear: show gamers how KontrolFreek can improve their performance and comfort while gaming and motivate them to take action.
The campaign consisted of two components: a User-Generated Content (UGC) campaign and an Influencer Marketing (IM) campaign.
During the UGC phase, we collaborated with three local creators – Girlpowerrrr and Strijdergili from the Netherlands, and Abulic from Belgium. They created original video content in a recognizable TikTok style, each convincing their audiences in their own way of the added value of KontrolFreek products. These videos were run as regular TikTok ads from the KontrolFreek account, leveraging their authenticity while giving us full control over targeting and media spend.
In contrast, the Influencer Marketing part of the campaign used Spark Ads, where the content was promoted directly from the creators’ own channels. This approach boosted credibility by making it clear that the message came from the influencer themselves, not from the brand – a key difference in how both types of content are perceived.
In total, the campaign generated five TikTok videos resulting in over 4 million views and more than 22.7 thousand clicks to the KontrolFreek shop.
