How Creators Brought Their Communities Into Virtual Reality

VR Base, Belgium’s leading virtual reality experience, teamed up with Adshot for an  PR campaign that brought creators into their fully wireless arenas across Mechelen, Leuven, Brecht and Kortrijk. The goal was simple: show the fun of VR through the eyes of real people.

Instead of relying on traditional ads, VR Base invited content creators to pick a location, step into another reality with friends or family, and share their journey online. Some fought off hordes of zombies, others teamed up to defend a fortress, every visit was a new world unlocked.

The campaign resulted in 35 unique content pieces across TikTok and Instagram. Some creators leaned into the gameplay and energy, others captured the reactions and laughter of their teammates. A few even shared thoughtful reflections or gave mini-reviews. Every post felt authentic and in line with each creator’s style.

In total, the content reached 55.500 organic views and 2,800 engagements. The campaign generated €10.164 in earned media value, leading to a return on ad spend of 521%.
