The new Halo TV-series by Paramount was being released exclusively in Belgium on Streamz. The show is based on the immensly popular video game series with the same name. Its main character; Master Chief is one of the best known video game characters of all-time.

As the launch of the show was coming closer Streamz was looking to spread the word to a broad gamer audience on social media in Belgium. That’s where Adshot stepped in to set up a large scale TikTok, Twitch and Instagram campaign featuring some amazing content creators.

But, reaching a young gamer audience online while remaining authentic isn’t an easy thing to do. We opted to use a multi-channel approach; tournaments featuring the biggest Twitch streamers of belgium, creative and authentic content on TikTok and even some celebrity content on Instagram to spread the message. We had to address every subculture within our target audience as only that conveys the sheer epicness that the Halo TV show brings with it. To not immediately lose interest of viewers it was essential to spread light-hearted, fun content that was also informative about the show, often with a clear reference to the video game series Halo.

So how did we reach this audience while also remaining authentic, informative and entertaining? Adshot set up an influencer marketing campaign using multiple amazing Belgian Twitch streamers who are also active as TikTok creators, a few TikTok-exclusive creators and an Instagram celebrity account. All creators gave their own take on promoting the game for the more creative content on TikTok and Instagram. All the TikTok content got uploaded on the TikTok profile of the creators and got a paid boost to reach a huge audience.
